*  We use the Singapore Math Program, a recognized world leader in Mathematics Education.

* In reading, selected novels are often based on themes we are studying in our Science and Social Studies programs.  Recent novels include:  Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy, Little House in the Big Woods, Meet Felicity, Bull Run, Magic Tree House: Revolutionary War on Wednesday.  We also have recently enjoyed selections from the Fantasy genre (James and the Giant Peach, Percy Jackson, and Charolette's Web, and The Borrowers).
